Help
can’t wait. That’s why the Oregon Trail Chapter of the American Red Cross provides
emergency relief and communication 24 hours a day--sometimes in the middle of
the night--to disaster victims and the military stationed around the world. Volunteers
operate first aid stations seven days a week at community events, and certified
instructors teach lifesaving skills in health and safety courses taken by thousands
of people in day and evening classes. Transportation Services drivers transport
elderly and disabled community members to doctor’s appointments and other necessary
trips.
