Red Cross assistance is provided 365 days a year.

Red Cross Caseworker. If you need immediate assistance from the Red Cross Oregon Trail Chapter, or another local resource, call our 24-hour number at 503 284-1234, and you can speak with a caseworker who can help you.

Safe and Well. If you have a family member who has been part of a natural disaster in another part of the United States, you can go to the “Red Cross Safe and Well Website” link at https:/disastersafe.redcross.org, to see if your family members have registered themselves as “safe and well.” You can also search for posted messages if your family member has registered on the website.

Military. If you are a military spouse or military dependent, you can call “Military One Source” at 1 800 342-9647 or go to their website at www.militaryonesource.com for more information.

Other local agencies. If you need assistance with emergency food, shelter, rental assistance, long distance transportation, you can dial 211 (503 222-5555) and speak with an information and referral specialist who can give you referrals to shelters, food banks and other local agencies.
