PORTLAND, Ore. – September 1, 2005 – Umpqua Bank is organizing a relief effort to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Beginning Thursday, September 1, monetary donations in any amount will be accepted at all Umpqua Bank stores throughout Oregon , Washington and California . All donations will go directly to the American Red Cross relief efforts in the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina.
