Red Cross Volunteers Respond To Residential Fire
PORTLAND, Ore. – June 26, 2006 – American Red Cross Oregon Trail Chapter volunteers responded to a residential fire in Sherwood to provide immediate assistance to a family.
Tualitin Valley Fire and Rescue responded to a multi-unit fire on SW Madeira Terrace late Monday afternoon and notified the American Red Cross.
The fire left three units uninhabitable and Red Cross responders are assisting 1 adult and two children with food and clothing. Red Cross client services caseworkers will continue to work with the family in the coming days to provide additional assistance as needed.
