Currently an instructor?  The following resources are available to you:

2. Class supply order forms: 
   • Individual Item Order Form - For individual textbooks, supplies, and rentals
   • Bundle Pricing Order Form - For instructors ordering workplace class bundles
3. A phone list of the Health & Safety staff at the Oregon Trail Chapter with instructions for submitting course records.
4. Instructions for an AED training device.  If you aren’t sure which device you’ve rented, click on each for a visual comparison.

If your organization is not already authorized to provide American Red Cross classes within the Oregon Trail Chapter's service area (Clackamas, Clatsop, Columbia, Multnomah, Tillamook, Washington, and Yamhill counties), please review the current Authorized Provider Agreement. Please submit this agreement with the instructor candidate’s application to teach. The pricing on this agreement goes into effect on September 1, 2008.  If you order items before September 1, you may notice your items cost a little less. For specifics, contact Eldon Lampson.

Instructor Training Program: Description and Dates

TO ENROLL:
Complete the Application to Teach with the dates you would like to attend. Keep a copy for your records in the event it needs to be resent. Applications must be received one week before the first day you plan on attending. Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis.

This is not an application for employment with the American Red Cross-Oregon Trail Chapter.

The instructor course is $255 for all of the courses listed on the flyer above. You will receive an instructor manual and one copy of all student level materials. There is a $50 transfer or cancellation fee so please check your schedule carefully.

The DVD First Aid/CPR/AED for the Workplace that instructors use when teaching is usually $174.99.  If an instructor candidate would like to purchase a copy prior to the instructor course, the cost is $135.  The DVDs are also available to check out during the class and to rent after the class is complete.
Another DVD that might better fit your needs, First Aid/CPR/AED for Schools and the Community, is available for the same price.
